Internet Plans
UC Internet Plans allow students to purchase a monthly Internet Allowance for on-campus Internet use. See our Current Charges page for options and prices.Note. Internet Plans are only recommended if you are likely to use up your free Internet Allowance. Under a plan you are paying for the full amount no matter how much you use in a month.
Why Would I Want A Plan?
Internet Plans are optional. You can continue to pay the normal
pay-as-you-go rate for internet traffic, if that's what you prefer. (See the ICTS Charge Rates page.)
On Wednesday 20 July 2011, the rates for Internet Plans were updated in line with our recent reduction in internet charges to $2.00 per GB.

How To Purchase A Plan
Purchase an Internet Plan using My IT Account. There is a link on the left hand menu called 'Select a Plan'.

Important: Internet Plans are charged to your Canterbury Card in advance each month. It is important that you maintain sufficient funds on your Canterbury Card to cover these costs. Check your Canterbury Card balance using My IT Account.
